    Question US antitrust policy

I am writing a large paper on how the American computer industry has affected US Government antitrust policy.

I have been able to find numerous sources about the Microsoft vs. US case that I can use in my paper, and I have also found copies of several laws such as the Sherman Antitrust Act, Clayton Antitrust Act, and other laws that refer to antitrust.

However, I was wondering if there was anything else other than Microsoft that has had antitrust charges brought against in the past 50 years or so.

Microsoft is considered the software giant now, but wasnt IBM once considered the software giant before Microsoft came to power? Was any action ever taken against IBM in the course of antitrust policy?

What other computer corporations that you know of have had antitrust violations? Are there any?

It's somewhat close to computers, AT&T was the biggest example of the Sherman Act in not only electronics, but any field of endeavor.

thanx Imperito, I will look into the AT&T case.

I just found a listing of some anitrust cases since the year 1990, but the electronics/computer industry goes back much farther than just 1990. So I am still looking.

    anybody have any others?
