    >> 1460 here. My story is that when I took it in middle school I got a 1380, So my four years of "high school education" was worth but 90/1460 of my intelligence. Seems like a waste of time in retrospect.
You mean 80/1460. How'd you score that high again

Anyways, congrats on the 1600 dude. I agree that SATs isn't a very good measure, but until they come out with a better test...

Took the ACT before most of you high schoolers were born. Don't recall the raw scores, but there were 4 areas: English, Social Studies, ?? & math.
Percentile scores were 99% (English), 98 & 96% next two, and... 36% math. The bar chart looked like a drop off a cliff.
I actually like math now, but I'm stiil not much better at it.

And, you were still in a Cub Scout uniform when I took it.

No, it's all yours. Just that I saw one of those "must be born before this date to buy alcohol" signs today and realized I could buy alcohol before that date.

    >The current SAT is virtually useless
The current purpose of the SAT (it seems to change every few years) is to predict the first year college grades. They (the collegeboard) site some statistics that seem to support their claim.
