Magos - I like your second one better (IMHO, of course).

    > Magos didnt ask for his opinion

Well, he posted his idea for a logo - I kinda thought it was implied that he wanted comments.

Other than that, cool it, cgawd and face - I know you think I'm on some wicked power trip or something (YES! I WILL CLOSE EVERY THREAD I DON'T LIKE! WOOHOO! THE POWER IS DELICIOUS! THREADS! CLOSED! AHAHAHHAHAHAA!), but if you guys continue fighting on here, I'm going to close the thread someone so kindly re-opened. Fight on AIM or something. Check each other's profiles for screen names. It's a much better place to fight anyways - witty quips like "I know you are but what am I" and "I'm rubber, you're glue" are delivered in real time!

Oh brother, cgawd How many times can I tell you that you can stick up for other people when they ask you to ("Oh cgawd! Save me from the polite constructive criticisms!!!"). Until then, just keep that stick up your arse (that IS where you're talking from, right?).

Anyhow, I like your second entry much better, Magos. Still blurry, though . You could just antialias the edges without blurring the entire the thing.

    What program are you using?

I didn't blur at all this time... The only 'blurring' is from the antialiasing when creating the text (and I don't want to remove that That would be too pixelated).
    I used paint shop pro.

Hmmm...I guess it's got something to do with the gradient playing tricks on my eyes. Oh well. It's still nice

Why doesn't any of my text look blurry?

    You using PSP 7.02?

Maybe because BMJ's outline is thicker?

My outline is gradient too (gray in the middle, black at edges). That might add to the effect.
