You think thats bad, this morning I turned on my computer and I didn't have a cd-drive. Dead as a door nail, how can something work at 12:30 that night and then when I use it again ( after only going to sleep ) at 7:30am not work.

Once I turned my computer on and it was checking all of my drives more so than usual looking for something. After about 30 seconds it still hadn't begun to load Windows and it came up with a BIOS message saying something like "Cannot find OS". I was like, "WTF... What do you mean you can't load the operating system? What's going on?!" I rebooted and it was fine.

Also, every now and then, it says something about detecting and configuring new drives D: and E: (my CD and DVD drive). These are the same drives that came with the computer when I bought it more than a year ago and were working fine the night before.
