I pretty much agree. Dont know what to say except that everyone should adopt my mentality: Peace. And I mean that not just in an anti-war way; More of a relax-and-enjoy-life way.

"Kids have been playing video games for as long as video games have been in existence, and 99.9 percent of them are going to play them and not be affected by them," Bartlett said. But "there's always that one-tenth of 1 percent that this is the thing that hones that homicidal edge."

LOL. Then there must be a percentage of butchers, morticians, doctors and chefs (ect) that go 'crazy ape s**t bonkers' with sharp pointy things?

I think you miss the point though.
They are just offering up opinion as fact. Why? To get you to read their paper as some people will say 'thats right' and (hopefully most) will say 'what a load of BS'. But you will all buy the paper. They are trying to disguise the fact that they know no more about this very news worthy event than you.

[Ahh, I see KF beat me too it]
    >>I claimed to be a "101 year old woman from Afghanistan".

I claimed to be a 1 year old female from Afghanistan, is that you grand-ma?

    On an a side.
FPS games do affect a very few killers. Before they were very popular killers used to spray off a lot of shots. Now the games have taught them to aim and fire. More importantly they have taught them to re-load. It used to be in a close range firefight less than 5% of non military personel reload their guns (strange but true).

    >> This is true, but it is a fact that there has been an increase of "crazy things" in recent (20-30 years) and don't you think it's worth finding the reason why? Especially if it can be helped?

This in some way is due to 'Regan-onmics'. He reduced the mental health regulations to save cash. This could be the result.

"Who are the superheroes in our culture?" asked Daphne Whites, executive director of Bethesda's Lion & Lamb Project, which fights the marketing of violent toys and entertainment to children. "They're people who go around shooting people."

Correct me if I am wrong but your PRESIDENT demands the right to attack countries and if we don't support him in these attacks then we are against the US or we are irrelevent. Even if these WEAKER countries comply with his demands he still wants to attack as you can't trust others.

This message scares me. It says that violence and bulling is an acceptable way of problem solving, not a response to aggression of others and last resort.

You wonder why some nut follows his lead?

LOL that's a hilarious point, and a very true one. Going totally off topic, I agree, Bush is an idiot, and stubborn on this issue and is perhaps one of the worst forgiegn policy presidents we've seen in a long time, especially coming off of Clinton, one of the best dipolomats.
