Word up! Ken and I are party animals, R-or-D. You should take
lessons from us when it comes to partying...

Hey Ken, remember last week when you almost OD'd on extasy?
Damn homie, that was wicked-whack. It's all good, though.

    Thats called stupidity :P

Besides, the last lan (at our friends apartment) was much more fun cause there were no parents.

Ever played HL when your drunk/stoned off your ass? Funny **** man, there aint nothing like having your buddy blow your head off with surround sound when your stoned haha.

Any time I can, LAN parties are a blast! Of course, it's a good way to show off how skilled you are with certain games (also how pathetic you are in life)...okay, maybe LAN parties aren't so great, but they are fun.

If I didn't know better, I'd start to worry about you kids...I mean, even more than I do now.

I an old fart, but a beer drinking cool one.
Likewise...without the illusion of being cool. After a few, "beer drinking" and "cool" tend to become mutually exclusive and you're simply an old guy who smells like beer and slurs a lot.

Yeah, because going to a lan party instantly makes you a super-nerd with no life? I don't think so. For those who think they're too "cool" to go to a lan party... what the hell are you doing hanging around on a programming message board?

Ken, the first part of your statement is very true. I'm not so sure about the second part, though.

Hang on, Chief! Don't think anyone has even suggested that one! Given some of the gloomier topics posted out here, I would have thought that a little, good-natured ribbing would be welcome...assuming that you're aiming your question at me, of course. (Actually, it was Prelude who spoke about "a life", wasn't it? Yeah, good idea. Pick on her instead. )

Actually, even though you're going to slam-dunk Prelude, I find the topics - usually - interesting. Frankly, I don't know what "the hell" a LAN party is. If you folks like them, that's what matters.

    P.S. Don't really "slam-dunk" Prelude. That would be ill-mannered.

Ever seen the option on a video game called "multiplayer" or "LAN"?

A lan party is hooking your pc up to your friends pc via some netowrk cables n a hub or two and shooting them ****less.

    Thanks, Ride -or- Die.

To tell the truth, I'm more content working in my basement on projects for my house than with video games, but, at least, you've filled me in. Again, thanks.
