    bank switching to store memory

ya know how dos can only access 1 meg or whatever (64 k without changing segments or whatever) well, would it be possible to use the extra video memory you arent using as a way to store memory or would it be about as fast as disk access?

I guess it's possible if you aren't using it. It'd be faster than disk access, yet slower than regular system memory.
