Ok, so without the actual country and its natural resources, the wealth still would have been created. That's what you're saying. Where do you think the wealth came from, if not the resources of the conquered country? Again, if I come and conquer your land, do x, y or z with it and get rich as a result, my wealth isn't a result of conquest?
I'm sorry. I didn't realize logic was a problem for you. If condition y is necessary for result x, x is dependent on y. If I come to Florida, steal your car, soup it up and sell it for a profit, then by your reasoning my profit has nothing to do with the theft.

Fill, you know being anti-american is not a crime. I can understand that you don't like it, but being anti-american is not forbidden. Commiting crimes and being anti-american are two completely different things. Welcome to the world outside of the United States. Not everyone loves you and not everyone is keeping his/her mouth shut. Democracy lives from different oppinions. You will have to respect that.

nvoigt, the difference is I don't speak ill of any other country. I don't claim that civilians killed in the name of politics got what they deserved because their government stood a certain way on something. it is certainly "allowed" to be anti-american but why is it so damn popular? Is it really legitimate to say that civilians killed by a terrorist had it coming to them because of the government's policies? I think not. And that is how this thread turned.

No, it's not. But some Americans, and you seem to belong to this group, have to learn that being anti-american is NOT the same as being a terrorist. I don't like american soldiers marching into Iraq for example, but I'm not blowing up your planes either. Stop thinking black and white, the world is not that easy. Anti-american does not mean pro-terrorist. You are not alone in this world, there are billions of other non-terrorists out there.

Just look at the evil Germany has done

I'm truly amazed at this comment. Most people who think our foreign policy sucks say we should keep our nose OUT of their business. The reality is we were involved in WWII before we actually officially got involved. We supplied pilots, money, weapons etc. The truth is, when nations have asked for american help they have typically gotten it. We ran in to deal with Milosovich didn't we? Did that have anything to do with oil?
