Get your head round this
Imagine a huge O on the floor. If I walked round the O for eternity, would I be walking the same line an infinite number of times? Or would I be walking an infinitly long line?
I've not decided.

You would be walking an infinate line (interval) becuase:
A line has no start and no end; it just keeps going (which is what a circle does.
An interval is a line with a start and an end; a circle is not this.
to take this a step further, a line is a specialized type of "curve". You aren't walking a "line" at all as it isn't straight.
