>Lesson 1: "How to improve self-confidence without having to write an OS"<
LOL...I resent that. :D
So, you wrote that OS, HillBillie? That's pretty neat. Why is it better? What are the advantages?
I don't think, he wrote that OS. He just tells how good it is. I tried to use it but it got an error.
Chapter 2: So you could not buy an OS.
Oh.
LMAO...no no. I didn't write BeOS! If that's what you inquire.
I have been working on one lately, though, and it's quite "hush, hush".
So, you've tried running BeOS, gamegod? Do you remember what error you got?
>So, you've tried running BeOS, gamegod? Do you remember what error you got?<
I belive it was something along the lines off:
Unable to mound hard disk.
Hmm...my friend got that same exact error. The fix is pretty easy tho'....
Let me guess I need to get Beos profesinal.
so what is it.
Haha, funny. It was a while ago, but I'm pretty sure I just used a boot floppy to start BeOS.
I tried that to.
I just rembered that I have a program that lets my computer use my 30g hard drive. Would that be the problem.
Hmm....I don't know then. I remember reading about this but I can't remember what the fix was (but it was simple)...
>I just rembered that I have a program that lets my computer use my 30g hard drive. Would that be the problem.<
Wait, the program is the only way for you to use the 30gig on your computer?
BeOS can recognize up to 17 terabyte hard disks....
>Wait, the program is the only way for you to use the 30gig on your computer?

Yes, is the only way for my computer use the hard drive. The program over rights my bios settings, witch does support such a large drive. I am using the latest bios upgrade.
I'd bet that's the reason then. If that program is system-dependent then your outta luck. It's not BeOS's fault.
>I'd bet that's the reason then. If that program is system-dependent then your outta luck. It's not BeOS's fault.<
Yes it is.
Normal Boot:
Bios, EZ-Bios (thats the program that over rides my bios), windows
Attemped BEOS boot
Bios, Ez-Bios, press control, choose boot from floppy, insert flopy, beos tries to load.
Compley BEOS fault.
