Well, how often is this 341k chunk downloaded, because I have a crappy 56k? I take it it's not even going to be worth my time to use it since I'm using a 56k; onsidering that very little time wil actually be dedicated towards processing the information with not being able to be online constantly.
I used to run it on a 56k...for 3 years... The download time is only about 1-2 min, their servers keep it at 5k/sec. (Upload time is 10-20 seconds) The biggest effect a 56k has is that it can only connect when you sign on and say it's ok, but there are now programs that let you download multible units are downloaded then processed...then uploaded when you connect again.

If you send your completed units to "Team CProg" for example, do they still count against the correct country, or do they go to the country that is "host" to "Team CProg"?
I don't know...it probably gives the country credit too since it gives the individual credit...but if you actually discover something and it's confirmed you're going to have half the news stations and half the newspapers in the world will be on your doorstep .

We will only do one, don't want to split our resources....heh we'll see which...I'm partial to Seti though (the "Big Time") since I've been doing ti for years...

3 Things, first I'm looking into it hehe...
Second, windows, console and regular, though I'd prefer regular...
third....please put your posts all as one instead of takeing after Dean and doing them one after then other. It won't boost your post count because I'm just going to start going through and putting them into one post and deleting the rest. And I hate having to do that. (You can use the edit button to add)

And Seti looks pretty scientific too .

What'd you do delete them all? Either way the problem I'm having is that the folding install won't work. Getting an error message as soon as it unpacks

i always put it on the computers in my schools computer labs but the techs always take it off anywhere from 1-5 days later so it does generate quite a bit of work. I go into this one lab that has 3 different rooms each with 50pc's i have a few breaks during the day so ill go into each room and get on as many pc's as i can..

    [EDIT]
oh yeah any word from the webmaster yet kermi?

It's being looked into. The group should be setup sometime soon and I'll get everyone the info. It'll be a while longer on a possible new portion of the site.

Seti's good (and I'll join the team), but BMJ's right - Folding's trying to find a cure for cancer - IMHO, that's a little more important than finding aliens.
