    Castle Wolfenstein multi-player beta

Anybody interested in this? Since it's beta and they're asking
for comments and suggestions, I don't think it would be a sin
to post it on flashdaddee.com. It's a 64MB exe. Graphics look
really goods, and the movement is smooth. Problem is I
don't know how or where to play it. So, anybody's interested,
I'll put it up on my site and we can work on it together or
among ourselves if more than one person replies. And if
nobody replies, well, then, oh, well.

Yeah - it's really cool! I played it at my friend's dorm last weekend... It's fun if you don't get too many TKers in there...

I downloaded it when it came out. I would love to play it, and
on a private server, you won't get too many TKers... If you
need a player, count me in ;-) My friends played it at the last
LAN party and liked it very much.

Man, I can remember sitting at my classmates 386 playing
Wolf3D... that rocked, the first ego shooter ever.

I'll up it as a multipart rar file. That would work for you.

Be patient people. I'll have it up sometime soon.

I have a 36-gig scsi hd that has about 30 gigs left on it.
Anybody got any idea how to set it up as a server for us?
I'm on cable, so I don't think you'd be able to dial in. I'm a
little in the dark regarding this stuff.

Why not ace the files, then zip then?

(WinAce from http://www.downloads.com has nearly 50% compression)

Maybe we could get a game going amongsts us? I have played the demo quite a bit... hopefully my windows install stops being so damn moody, so I can play some more.

Bah, It is a total rip of day of defeat, a half life mod.

    HU

    Someone was complaining about 64mb?

I downloaded an arcade rom set ( game ) that was 404mb - WinRared into 20+ files.

If I am lucky, I DL stuff off the net at 950kb/s. If I am unlucky, I get someone from my dorm to send me stuff over the LAN at 950kb/s .

If I am lucky, my windows install lasts a week. If I am not lucky, my windows install lasts 2 bluescreens at boot .

I can download a 600mb file in about 3 hrs or so with my cable modem, maybe faster. I think it also depends on the sources connection. I did this off of ftp before.
