Just wondering, are all of you happy with your degree? I mean,
when you graduated, did you think "oh nuts! I should have majored
in something else?" or "Yippie!"

I forgot, what is your degree in?
(beancounter....but it pays the bills!)
I took several Accounting courses in High School, the Computer Based ones were much more tolerable than writing out all the accounts etc. It wasnt bad, and I enjoyed some of it, but I didnt want to pursue it since it seems so dull, but as you said it does pay the bills. Although being a CA would be nice.
I just hope after I get my degree, I wont regret it, and have a job which I enjoy doing.

Try not.
Do or do not.
There is no try.

CIS - Network Communication Specialist.
CIS - Programmer/Analyst (maybe)
Electronics (maybe)
* CIS = Computer Information Systems
I'm only in the first course right now, and am not certified, but I enjoy the classes/school/schedule, and the people.
To anyone who has been reading or following who could provide insight:
For the Electronics field, you take a trig. class targeted for electronics. You also take some sort of an electricity concepts class.
What could you tell me about the
1. Work difficulty
2. Learning curve
3. Envolvement
4. Satisfaction of completion
The world is waiting. I must leave you now.
I wasn't happy with my Biochemistry degree, thats why I did a Software Engineering degree a few years later
Couldn't think of anything interesting, cool or funny - sorry.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you do for a living? I'm still trying to decide what I can/want to do...
Regardless, I've been in the work force for 4 years+ working in my major... but as a programmer... and I'm fairly happy... I think I could continue in the software end and be happy, but I think I'd like to get into more hardware..

I'm fine with my degree so far (although it might take me far away from here, which isn't necessarily a bad thing)... Well, I don't have it yet, but as ober said, I've been doing the work for a few years, so I think I've got a good handle on it. I would've picked a different school if I had a chance to do it over, though.

I guess I'm happy with my degree - but I'll see in the long run if it has paid off.
Haven't graduated yet but I think I picked the right thing for me: Electronics engeneer.

I can imagine. I wouldn't go to the same school as ober does
