    Devil's Advocate had the potential to be utterly terrifying, but it was overdone at the end.

    Rosemary's Baby was pretty damn freaky.

    Ever since I saw It at 5 I've been scared of clowns...

    The original Psycho was good

    I'd say "The Exorsist" or the original "Poltergeist" or possibly Babra Streisand's "Yentil" *shudders*

    Fire in the Sky (it was based on a true story of a man getting obducted by aliens in Flagstaff, Arizona)

    btw, I think Signs is far from being scary. But it's still a good movie.

    My favorite is Resident Evil. Event horizon is good too.

    Current projects:
    1) User Interface Development Kit (C++)
    2) HTML SDK (C++)
    3) Classes (C++)
    4) INI Editor (Delphi)

    'The Candyman' movies were pretty good. Freaked one of my friends out pretty well back in high school (I guess it didn't help that we stood her in front of a mirror after she watched the movie). We rented the first one on holloween one year and had to go back to the store to get the second one that night.
    More recently, even though the 'Blair Witch' wasn't incredibly scary, I wouldn't have gone camping after watching it.
    I still want to see 'Signs', although I heard the ending is iffy.

    For me I guess the Excorcist is right up there......and for a shocker - Alien

    Oh and a recent Brit movie called Long Time Dead...that was pretty cool
