I'm writing a website at the moment, but I want to know how to upload a font to a users machine as the page starts if the machine doesn't have it already. I'm kinda new to html so I don't know much about it.

I dont know if you can upload a file to the client machine without the user's consent. Maybe you could include all of your writing in images, or, if you a pro (), you could make all writing in flash.
no face, there is a way of doing it but I think it's an IE only feature. Unfortunately I haven't done web stuff for quite some time so I can't really help.

You could offer a download of the font, but in all honesty I would recommend just using a standard font like Arial, Times, or Verdana - it'll save you a lot of hassle in the long run.
That's true yes, but I would actually prefer the font (my site looks beter)

Thanx for you offer, but I think I'll pass for now. I think I just wan't to finish my site and then I'll focus on modernising it.
Anyway Here's how my site looks so far. I'ts just a prototype so far. I'm planning a lot of changes in the designs.
