You shouldnt eat fries at any plcae that fries them in two minutes, well at extremely high temperatures. A study, not too long ago, said that you stand a chance at getting cancer when you eat starchy foods, (eg potatoes), which are cooked or deep fired at high temperatures.
I dont each much from fast food restaurants, and I dont eat fries from there very often now.

I remember when Wendy's changed to a healthier cooking oil and while the fries did taste different, they weren't exactly worse. It just takes some getting used to.

I'm sure there is a study that says you can get cancer from just about everything. We hear about something new that supposedly causes cancer every year.
Or you could just be like me and develop an obsessive taste for Subway.

I once saw a study "proving" that apples cause cancer. With a small enough test group, you can prove anything...try flipping a coin three times. One side comes up TWICE as frequently as the other! WOW!
Away.
When Burger King changed their fries I went to onion rings and never looked back. The only reason I go to McDonalds is for the fries so I hope they don't suck.
"The new oil, to be introduced on Oct. 1 and completely phased in by February, leaves the total amount of fat in the fries unchanged. It just rejuggles the types of fat. The changes come just weeks after a New York man sued McDonald's and three other fast food chains claiming they caused his obesity."
'nuff said.
This is my signature. Remind me to change it.
I'm with Cshot here. I love McDonald's fries. :slurp:
>I once saw a study "proving" that apples cause cancer<
Heh, I heard about a study that showed consuming too much citric acid or potassium can cause cancer growth. It might've been the same study. I heard it over the radio though.
Next thing they'll be saying is tobacco can cause lung cancer, and alcohol can lead to birth deformities. Silly scientists and their research...

Fat...sure...
Just think of the taste sensation you get from Macdonald's fries and you'll forget about about the oil and stuff.
I VOTE FRIES!!!!!
I say nay, nay! I shall not eateth of their "healthy' fries, I shall consider the fries, from this day forth, as a destroyer of my saliva and soul.
NOTE: I really just posted so I could see my post total.

I'm not really a fan of fastfood frieds. They're too small. I like bowling
