    lightatdawn.cprogramming.com

The webmaster has been kind enough to give the Moderators the option of having a site hosted here. I took him up on the offer and just finished uploading a few things. My old site is gone and nobody (including myself) will miss it.

The concept of the new site is to help someone new to programming, and anxious to get into something interesting (weren't we all?). Starting off with a few basic concepts and then on to a 4 step Text Game (which i've totally revised from previous versions) which should lead a newbie through to enlightenment.

Since I havent had the time to be incredibly careful checking it over, theres likely to be some mistakes. Please point 'em out and I'll jump on it. I'll also be uploading new things, additions, and edits as I find/make them.

i suggest either changing the background or the foreground text color so they don't blend together as easily.

    good job

dang! ygf beat me to it. That's the only thing I can see that would need improvement. Overall I like the site, but the light blue text blends in with the background making it really hard to read.

    Are you color blind?

? Maybe a screenshot of what you're seeing would help? Everything looks quite nice from here. Mostly blue. The darker background fixed any contrast problems that existed before. You seeing something else or are you just fsking with with me?

The links are one of the colors that are not good. There is more though. All of the titles
    1)..
    2)...
    3)...
etc. Those colors do not show up well either.

The links in boarders are fine, just the hyperlinks in the text.

I see this . Which I believe should be what everyone sees. If I turn both my brightness and contrast way down then it becomes slightly difficult to differentiate between the links darker colour and the background. But by this point my screen is so dark i cant differentiate between anything at all so...

Is anyone else having any difficulties (at all) in reading the links?

Now that the background is pure white the links are fine, the boarders and the text inside them is fine, but the supporting body of text is extremely difficult to see. The problem is satifying both the links outside the boarded links and the body of text on the webpage.

i'm not seeing what you're seeing. the bg on the site for me is white and incredibly hard to see stuff.

Oops. Last update was screwed up. Fixed the background (i think). Changed the links to a lighter colour. Will fix the rest of the headings colour at some later point.
