You just have to get used to it. I got a mini keyboard for my desktop and never looked back. Small is great once you get the hang of it.

    LOL! Great

I can't stand notebook keyboards, either... Not so much the size, but all the keys are in the wrong place!

Just like someone cut the keyboard off of a laptop and gave it a base to sit on. They're about the same size, very cute.

The keyboard rarely causes problem for me ..what I really hate is when I forget to bring the usb/intelieye mouse so I have to use the touchpad.

    hmm

personally, i like big keyboards... my fingers are really big
(bigger than BB player Shaq's) ... so i dont like typing on
laptops 'cause i have to bring them too close and watch
out for those neighbouring keys or i'll end up
    typing duck instead of ****

I guess this is for typing, eh?

if so, try mic/voice recognition combo or some write/draw tablet like this one:

    http://cache.bizrate.com/computer/large/0/6437260.jpg

thus, if you have MS Word 2000/2002, you can easily dictate to the computer or write and have it convert to text on the screen.
also useful if you are an artist.
