Who here owns the book Code Complete? Is it a good book and should I buy it?

While we're on the topic of books, can anyone recommend a good book on 80x86 assembler?

She was so Blonde, she spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice can because it said "Concentrate."

When in doubt, read the FAQ.
    Then ask a smart question.

I've got it, but havnt really had the time to read through it properly. Anyways, I've seen nothing but good reviews of it.

I have an old copy of Mastering Turbo Assembler by Tom Swan (borland related but has loads of good info)...its out of print and quite sought after, but a little searching and sensible bidding got me a copy @ auction for a good price..

Also, go to the Intel site and download their IA-32 manuals
