BASIC Stamps are small computers that run PBASIC programs, and communicate with other electronic devices. Their simple language and easy interfacing make BASIC Stamps ideal for many applications, for the hobbyist and for education. The Stamp 1 and 2 are 14- and 24-pin modules, with the circuitry packed onto a small board. These modular BASIC Stamps have corresponding carrier boards for easy interfacing to PCs, power supply and prototyping. BASIC Stamps connect your computer's parallel or serial port for programming. After being programmed, they can be connected directly to buttons, LEDs and other TTL-level devices, and with extra components, to non-TTL devices such as relays.
