Have you people heard about MSs plans for the inculusion of Palladium in there next OS? It sounds pretty nasty:

It is said to be 'very' secure and should, i have read be a secure platform making it 'impossible' to copy cds, share MP3s and play some of them. Also software will have to be made Palladium certified work correctly on the new platform. Also Music CDs e.t.c will have to be certifed all aiming at anti-piracy.
However MS say that this will be a complete optional feature that can be easily turned off, but that dosnt sound too likly
