    2 Win2000 boxes at home and an old pile parts that runs Dos6.22

    WinXP @ work...

    Will be putting my main box to WinXP sometime soon

    I use win2k at home and have a laptop with dos 6.something. on it but I'm thinking on upgrading it to WinXX?

    What would you guys install on laptop: P 133Mhz, 24MB ram and 1GB HD. Also it has a touchpad for mouse so I need drivers for this too (preferebly included in the OS. the portable is from Ascentia (AST). I know I asked this on FD a while ago, but I'm afraid of formatting. (because of the touchpad) and I want all the advice I can get

    i meant to make it a poll but i ****ed up and didnt click the little box and I cant edit it and put in a poll. I made this mistake before and I dont wanna get the mods mad if I keep doing this. so I decided not to make another new thread like I did last time. (on the are you scared poll i made before the cboards got moved.)

    Yes me too, Ouch indeed
    I'd probably use Win98 Second Edition on it. It definately won't run XP or maybe even 2k.

    and on the title.... well... What is so "ouch" about it? I'm just describing myself

    My main box uses WinXP Home, my older two boxes have Windows 95, and MS-DOS 3.2 running PM as the command interpreter.
