Okay if this planet is so close to hitting us (9 months) why haven't we even seen it? What is it going to do, suddenly appear, bump earth then disappear? Things only do that in crappily animated computer games.
Y2K was the funnest time period EVER. I went around and scared people on purpose just to watch them get all scared and junk. My mom and dad filled our bathtub with water so we can drink if the power goes out and we can't get any from our well. lol!
The ONLY way blowing up an asteroid will work is if we make it split in small enough pieces to where they would burn up in the atmosphere. The most damage that will be caused then is maybe roofs being damaged by the larger sized meteorites that don't burn up completely, or maybe if some idiot get clunked in the head by one. I say redirect the motherf****er!
And I would love to see it hit earth. Why? Beats me. I would just like to see it happen. Everytime something like this comes up, I cross my fingers it'll happen.
