And Govt - Z is pronounced Zed, not Zee.
Does anyone else here find it ironic that a post about a man who can't hardly speak english , has become a discussion on the finer points of grammar?
Conan the Barbarian
Predator
Commando
Twins
Total Recall
Last Action Hero (yeah right!)
Junior
Eraser
End of Days
The Sixth Day
Terminator 1
Terminator 2
Kindergarten Cop

No way - we'll rearrange the letters when you call trucks and apartments by their correct names....
btw - Thru's not an accepted proper spelling here, either...
Let's think about this.
Saber - pronounced say-ber
Sabre - pronounced say-ber not sa-bray
Which makes more sense?

Sabre does of course.
Trucks are trucks here in Australia, but apartments are called flats.
"I saw a Fosters truck from out the window of my flat."
Surely "can hardly speak English".
As an individual letter z is pronounced zed but in or at the end of words it works fine in terms of pronounciation.
If you go by pronounciation of letter combinations you can spell the word 'fish' 'ghoti' although I forget the whole explanation.
gh as in cough, and ti as in station but I can't recall which word to misuse to get the middle vowel sound.
Should we give this topic it's own thread as well?
Lead me not into temptation... I can find it myself.

Can't (Cannot) is acceptable as well

I don't think so - I doubt Arnie's gonna generate that much interest on his own (sorry [&])
Just to you guys, I'm not prepared to have a really serious debate about why the American dialect is better... The minute someone cites a real resource where there sorry ass looked uyp smth to prove me wrong, I will pronounce myself winner and exile the loser to cplusplus.com

Trucks are trucks, apartments are flats, I only saw thru' in airports so assumed it was to save space on signs, I think it is a valid use of an apostrophe.
We could put an English/American dictionary up somewhere.
It's trousers by the way, pants are underwear. Jello is jelly, jelly is jam, chips are crisps, fries are chips, faucets are taps, the sidewalk is the pavement this could just run and run. lets end it now and agree to interpret at run time.
Lead me not into temptation... I can find it myself.
Excellent special effects and the story is really kewl, especially if you're workin' in a robot research lab yourself

C'mon - I'm the only one here that liked Kindergarten Cop? I can't believe that...
"Who is your Daddy and what does he do?"
"You're not so tough without your car, are ya?"
These are classic lines! I, for one, was appalled when that wasn't at the top of the AFI Top 100 list. Waterworld and Ishtar were also notably absent.
