    Mandrake 8.2

    Hey everyone, I just switched from RH7.2 to Mandrake 8.2, and I think it is heaps better.

    I can't configure my modem for 8.2 yet - not sure what the problem is cos this is the first Linux installation I've used. Guess I'll get there in the end....

    I am running Mandrake 8.2 as well. I tried Red Hat 7.3, I just ddin't like it as much, despite Red Hat having newer software (newer version of KDE, for instance).

    Last time I checked, the board was called "Linux Programming"
    I don't see much "Linux Programming" in this thread.

    I've got RedHat 7.2 installed, Debian on a disk (but I've never tried it). Should I switch out RedHat for Debian, do you think its worth it?

    I have Mandrake 8.1, the only problem I have is that I cant use my printer in Linux, since there isnt a suitable driver for it yet.
