Hello Out there,
My name is Steven Edwards and I am a developer for the ReactOS project. In case you havent heard about us or might have heard the wrong information, I will tell you a little about us and what you can do to help if you are interested.
The ReactOS project is a OpenSource GPL licenesed Windows NT/2K clone. Currently we only support the X86 platform but if you would like to run ReactOS on another please feel free to send us the patches. =) We are a totaly differnt project then Unix and Unix like OpenSource clones. Our goals are a 100% reimplementation on the NT Kernel, Executive and Susbsytem design. To save you from answering the question yes we work with the WINE project to help implement parts of the Win32api.
If you are interested in helping please checkout http://www.reactos.com and download the bochs test image. It is little out of
date but it will give you a good idea of where we are at. If you then want to contribute, feel free to go to sourceforge.net and join the reactos-kernel mailing lists. Even if you are not a programmer we can find something for you to do.
=)
Thanks
Steven
