I just saw the movie swordfish tonite. There's this one scene where this guy is cracking some system and he's working really fast and going through demotion's like happy, excited as he work's. Has anyone here ever been in that state, you kinda know what to do to solve a problem, but it's still a litte frustrating, you get that feeling of joy... Ahhhh, anyway i voted "my computer is just great thank's for asking".

I would like to both marry by computer AND put a screwdriver through the CPU. We have one of those love/hate relationships. I voted screwdriver though as I think that would be the vastly more satisfying option...

"Don't be too proud of that technological terror you've constructed."

Anger leads to the Dark Side. A computer isn't to blame. Only the programmer and the user. And that's both me. So if something sucks, I get more chocolate and more coke and work 'till it fits.

That would be my fault too, the only time i get upset at the computer is when Windows decides to give me the 'blue screen of death'.

I don't get angyy at the computer, in fact it is very hard to get me angry, unless you start telling me I should do this and this, despite the fact I need to do this and that.

I am at one with my PC. The only time I've been really frustrated was when I contracted the Klez Worm from an E-mail attatchment (goddamn you Outlook Express 6!)... and it took *ages* to clear and had taken out approximately 3/4 of the 110 applications on my PC and made a pest of itself in infecting several of my friends PCs too.
Aside from that (which prompted me to stop using OE... very promptly!) my computer runs like a bean and Windows 2000 Pro has never crashed (watch this now... I'm jinxing myself). So all in all I'm happy with my PC...

...I'm still going to get a new one though.

I'm at one with the universe. Besides, it's very rarely the computer that causes trouble, it's the operating system. At work we have two operating systems, Windows and a custom OS written by a moron who left before I could kill him. A lot of my job is duct taping that spawn of satan back together. Conclusion? Don't get angry with the computer, get violent with the bright spark who wrote the OS.
