Anyone here play D&D? Code, then D&D? Then eat? Sleep sometimes? If only there wasn't money, or concerns of the body, that would be the life.
Seriously though, has anyone played D&D? Anyone still play it? 3rd Edition?

I used to play D&D with my friends from high school however those were many years ago. It was a fun game. My favorite was Ravenloft.
Been a long time since I played PnP D&D, but I have spent a lot of time with Never Winter since it came out
"Queen and huntress, chaste and fair,
Now the sun is laid to sleep,
Seated in thy silver chair,
State in wonted manner keep."
My friends and I play 3rd ed D&D all the time...

Do you prefer it to 2nd ed? I have a bit of a soft spot for it (3rd that is). Trying to get a group together at the moment.

Yeah, I do, esp. since there aren't (yet) a ton of addon books for it. My friend that normally DMs bought all these supplement rule books for 2nd ed - too many rules made it too complicated and way less fun. 3rd ed.'s more quick n dirty.

I agree - makes for some really wild character options too. Ah yes.. I have to get that group together, my Rogue is itching to stab something in the back.. *evil laugh*

NO, I don't play it..
There, I said it
Such is life.
Yeah, I like 3rd Edition. 2nd Edition was good, but the system could be slow. Only problem with 3rd Edition is that it seems a little more "cozy". Backstab is called "Sneak Attack", Thief is Rogue, no more Cultist temples to raid, etc. But once all of the addon books come out, it will be really good. I like the Psionic book, as well as Manual of the Planes (a very good read).
