I already asked the guy at the shop for the price of a LAN card. It's pretty cheap. I don't know if it's an ethernet card...(Price = Rs. 350 = 5.5 $ for one)
So, when i get two of these LAN cards, and install them on the systems, do i have to get a separate CABLE to connect the systems ? or will the CABLE come with the cards ?
and I suppose, that when i set everything up properly... i.e. connect them with the cables, Windows (WinXP on Athlon and Win98 on Cyrix) will automatically detect the cards and automatically install the drivers, which i presume will be on a disk provided with the cards ? Right ? Then I should be able to play Need For Speed on my LAN without any other overheads ?
