Is EXTRA THERMAL SOLUTION must for AMD ?

    Hey,

I'll be going to the market to get a new AMD this week. My question is: Is an additional thermal solution necessary for AMD ? The temperature of my room, on the average is about 30-35 °C (i think)... or does AMD systems come with enough built-in thermal solution...

Do I need something extra? Yes ? What ?

    What do I tell the shop-keeper ?

I had the worst nightmare...Pictures showing AMD vs. INTEL thermal management

P.S. : Is AMD capable of running all the software products that P-IV does ? e.g. Linux ?
