You could pay in services, as -KEN- has in the past...
Maybe I'll set up an eBay auction :D

for some reason this strikes me as very nasty... and in such my respect for ken has become even farther below zero. hehe hahahahahaah!! j/k ken.
>Maybe I'll set up an eBay auction
i don't think you can auction by "services" on ebay... unfortunatly.
Well, sure - if I did it on eBay, I'd have to charge money. Money that I could use to buy services :D
>> Money that I could use to buy services
homer:"Aww...all I wanted was some peanuts and insteaed all I found was money"
brain:"But money can buy you lots of peanuts!"
homer:"Explain how"
brain:"Money can be exchanged for goods and services"
homer:"Woohoo!" ::holds 20 in air, 20 flies out window::
homer:"D'oh!"

He's lying!....I did the afformentioned services out of true love! I love you, govvy-wuvvy!
I would like to take this time and applogize for any actions, previous actions, and all future actions in the future made by Govtcheez, -ken-, hillebilly, ober, and posibly others.
I think we can safely assume by now that GB has no friends.Quote:

>>Could this be the end of the world?<<
no, it's not the end of the world, i'm quit sure of that by now!
but there's one good thing about that, it sure explains the ........ing hot weather doesn't it??????? I'm boiling!!!!!!! I hafta take atleast 3 showers a day to keep breathing!
Commander, it didn't affect us. It was the opposite way and wouldn't have reached us anyways.
and besides, it has been pis***g it down all day in the UK where I am....so NO it has not changed the weather
what is this then???/ an alien invasion on Canada? what did we do?
Actually, the dust and debree fired out by solar eruptions can affect thing here on earth. The ionised gases that eventually reach earth are normall bounced off by earths magnetic field and the ionoshpere. Some solar wind is redirected slightly to the magnetic poles to create the "nothern lights". This is the gases hitting the ionosphere and disapating their energy into visible light (among other parts of the electomagnetic spectrum).
Solar eruptions are particularly active about every 11 years or so when the sun magnetic pole flip, causing massive upheaval on the suns surphase. A few years ago, during such a period, a large erruption occurred that was directed towards earth. Canada to be specific. Such a large outpouring of solar gases overwhelemed the earths natural magnetic field and was able to penetrate the atmosphere. Because these gases are ionic, they generate their own very small magnetic fields (which is why the earth magnetic field can normally 'bounce' them away to the poles), and moving magnetic fields generate electric current in a conductor. When the ionised gases hit the quebic power grid, it caused a massive power surge that fried a considerable amount of electronics. This is why, now they are monitoring solar eruptions so carefully.
They are developing and have plans to launch a serieso of satelites that will continuously monitor the sorlar eruptions and be able to see them much better than the SOHO. Check a few search engines for ("space research"&&"solar eruptions") on altavista for example.
Well, fantastic reply...
Nice one disk..that shut every1 up...
now, you didnt just steal that from a web page i hope?
But, nice answer
Hehe...I knew that!! I was about to say the same thing (ok in simpler terms) untill i read that post.
Actually, I mainly got that from various documentaries on the discovery channel and a bit of my own research thrown in. Thanks for the complement though :)
*climbs out of bunker*
*scratches eyes*...
damn it's bright out here.... is it over yet? :D
