Your theory... how can you even have a theory? You aren't even an adult yet. You live at home. You haven't travelled the world by yourself. You aren't even old enough for legal employment. You haven't been in a bar. You haven't had sex. You haven't been to war... you haven't done many things that seasons people into somber maturity. (some of these things you may have done... but you get my point)

Big suprise. They nearly all do. Then they become adults and realize that they really know very little.

I don't really want to get into this but I believe that the majority of your personality (which is being mistaken as maturity) is developed by the time you are about four years old. No doubt this is due to statistical proportions. However, I'm going to agree with Betazep that experience has a great deal to do with "real maturity" and at 15 there's just not a great deal of experience gained for most people. You constantly "mature" with time (at least you should) as your outlook on life changes with new experiences.

I think that should be taken ona case-by-case basis. I know my personality's not the same as when I was 4... Hell, it's not even close to how I was when I was 14.

I belive, that by around the age of 14-15 most men have developed how they are going to act, for the rest of there lives, unles they are forced not to act like it any more, by an outside force, for example GF/Wife telling you not to, a job, or other.

Bzzzt - wrong. What says that other outside influences besides force change attitudes or the way people act? People change all the time - deal with it.

It was around 15 when i stumbled on this life changing piece of logic out of the clear blue sky. I realized that no matter what i thought and how strongly i believed it, i would likely change my opinion at some point From that time on i became a little slower to judge, a little slower to deride others for their own thoughts, and a lot more open to change. I doubt there will ever be a point in your life where you can look back a couple of years and say "If I could go back, knowing what i know now, I would do exactly what I did then."

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the original "Hello World" program the one published in K&R? It's the oldest "Hello World" I can find in a book (not that I've looked very hard) :)

There it is, verbatim. I suppose one could argue that if there is a bug in the program, its the fact that main() isn't declared to return int (which wasn't a no-no back in 1978). However, I'll give the authors the benefit of the doubt ;)
