    >>> Did it get nasty?

    Yes it did, so I deleted it. Also, it would seem that the link I posted in the initial message was not readable by at least some, (I use newscientist.com probably every day, I don't remember registering, but that could be the case).

    ROTFL!

    I was wondering whether I was being slighted in some way by Fordys comment and now I know how! I tell you, if I had a sister she'd be horribly offended. I'm not going to let you get away with slandering people just because they dont exist.

    unfortunatly it did get a little far(did it get worse after i quit?)

    my original post seems to be the offending one that started the whole mess, so i hearby apologize. it was not my intention to cause any problems i only stated my opinion, my intention as stated in the post was, that in my "Opinion"(though opinion was not stated so blatantly), was that (edited to prevent another outbreak) , i don't remember much after that...
    I don't remember posting anything to inflamitory... but it turned out that way so again i apologize.

    anyway...

    wtf does "handbags @ dawn" mean?

    "handbags @ dawn" - Its a kind of a British thing....basically its like a slightly comical duel.....like guns at dawn.....but more slapstick ....no offense....
