    Hey are there any girls here? I've known only a few beautiful girls interested in programming.

    45. Programming 20+ of them, C++ probably 6-7 I guess.

    Yes there are, (not me by the way!), but some don't advertise the fact because when they do, every hormone hyped 14 year old tries to go cyber with them.
    Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity unto the dream.

    im 21yrs old.......started programming at age of 8yrs old(gw basic>>qbasic>>visual basic,fortran,pascal)
    juat 1 year in c, 6 months c++(using visual c++)

    by the way, I dont think its really matter how old is anyone, its only matter how long ve u been in the field.

    for myself I may take a 14 yrs old boy(with experience in c++ 4yrs) as a teacher as long as he knows much more than me.....and nothing bad about this.
    but older people r better they ve general logical control thinking more than much younger
    Programming is a high logical enjoyable art for both programer and user !!

    It seems to me that there are only a few girls in here, myself being one of them. I don't know why so few girls are into programming. There were only 3 girls in my class of 25 this year.

    NinetyFourGirl, are you sure you're a girl? You're lucky we are under the veil of secrecy in the Internet, so I can't see you. Cuz if you're a girl, you would be one of my idols.

    Girls are particulary meticulous when it comes to details, so most of them become proficient programmers. Most of my programming tutors are girls. They're cool!
