    I/E /Active X?

    Hello,
    I had bookmarked the post header entitled:
    "My first active x program", on the C board.

    Having finally gotten around to reading it
    eventually: I kept getting the following pop-up
    message.

    Microsoft Internet Explorer
    "Your current security setings prohibit
    running Active X controls on this page.
    As a result the page may not display corectly."

    However the pages do display o.k.

    Since then, whenever I've revisited this site;
    one other for the first time; but on no others,
    the message occurs.

    How do I resolve this problem?

    Thank you,

    Adock.

    Control Panel->Internet Options->Security->Default Level...

    That should reset the ActiveX security to a level that's acceptable and safe (LOL....if there is actually a safe level!!)

    Mostly I think its the Banners and adds here that call on the ActiveX conrols,......not the site itself.
