Jimmy Eat World
KISS
KoRn (just bought their new CD the other day)
Linkin Park
Megadeath
Metallica
Motley Crue
MXPX
New Found Glory (just bought their new CD the other day)
Nirvana
The OffSpring
Ozzy
Pantera
Papa Roach
Pearl Jam
POD
Puddle of Mudd (I used to be a huge fan of them but listening to them all the time before they came became pretty big and once they did become pretty big has made me not care for them at all anymore, however, how much I liked them before makes me put them on the list)
Rage Against the Machine
Rancid
Rob Zombie
Smashing Pumpkins
Soundgarden
Staind (pretty much the samething as Puddle of Mudd)
Sum 41 (almost the samething as Puddle of Mudd)
Three Doors Down
Thursday (I've been listening to them a lot lately along with my new CDs)
Tom Petty
Tool
Train (I'm only listening to them because the song "Drops of Jupiter" has a special meaning to me for which I will post here)
Weezer
There are ton of other bands that I could have listed but it would not be right to list them for one of the following reasons:
1) I've haven't heard enough of their songs to completely judge them as a whole
2) I may really really like a couple of their songs, but I don't think that means that I like the band or does it?
3) I don't know why
Also, a lot of the bands that I listed I don't listen to much anymore, but I still consider them a band that I like. Some are on the borderline, though.
All in all...not a bad least eh? In my opinion it's pretty well diversified.
yeah, hip-hop is quite good. Other than that I like rock (incubus, ACDC, whatever, not really into punk though), and of cource, who doesn't like Alanis Moresette! ; ).
I like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Pantera, Rammstein, System of a Down and some other bands.
Instead of listing band's that i like, i'm going to be different and list the song's in my winamp playlist...

Few of the best bands out there:
Alkaline Trio
BNL
Default
Everclear (anything from their first 3 cds, everything else sucks)
Fenix Tx (cant believe someone else in this forum knows who they are)
Flickerstick
FooFighters
Goo Goo Dolls (even though they are going downhill)
Hoobastank
Incubus
Jimmy Eat World (although it looks like they are starting to get popular and their next cd will proably be bad)
Led Zepplin
Linkin Park
Live
Our Lady Peace
Pink Floyd
Reel Big Fish (download beer,Sellout, and where have you been)
Smashing Pumpkins (one of the best bands I ever saw live)
The Who (Tommy -- the best whole album EVER)
Maybe its just me but does anyone else nottice that the popularity of a band seems to be inversly related to the quality of the music they put out. The more air play they get the more they suck.
>>I listen to Dip Music
wtf?
>>Fenix Tx (cant believe someone else in this forum knows who they are)
Heard of them. I'm sure I've heard some of their stuff but I cant remember any of it offhand.
I'd make a list of the CDs I own but at over 160 CDs in my collection I dont have the time and I'm just plain too lazy to find them all. So I'll list a few favorites.
Tool
Deftones
Eminem
Union Underground
Rage against the Machine
Perfect Circle
Sublime
Fan Tan Alley (local band)
Live
Incubus
Theres plenty more I like but those pop to mind.

Just thought I'd pipe in. Hoobastank and Linkin Park all went to the same high school as me, they lived in the same town. And Incubus grew up in a town adjacent to me. Pretty cool eh?

Just in case we missed the first post you thought you'd quote yourself for a second post?
P.S. Hoobastank and Linkin Park are good.
