    wuts tcp-ip

    at dual fishes ftp site ftp://[email protected]/ it had a learn tcp-ip in 14 days file. wut is tcp-ip and wut is it used for

    It's a type of Internet Connection. I think it's used for small networks and inranets. Check out the tutorial - it'll tell you more.

    It's the protocal the internet is based on. Transmission Control Protocal / Internet Protocal if I recall correctly. If you want to get into programming with sockets (winsock, BSD socks, etc.) You're going to have to have some knowledge of how TCP/IP works.

    I remember a time when it was way more popular than this. It's still chaotic now, but when I first joined posts would be on the second page within 10 minutes if noone replied to them.
