The "Anything but cross-continental warfare" thread

So, like, I'm gonna post something that has nothing to do with any sort of cultural, political, or economic situation:

When I sometimes, eat a bunch of potatoes, and proceed to down a couple glasses of water, I get this really bloated feeling. And I mean, wow, it feels like I'm about to burst out of my entire 19 year old, pale, white, 140 pound self. The problem is that I cannot stop eating potatoes; whenever I try to stop, an angel appears on my right shoulder and says "but, John, don't worry, potatoes are good for you, they're starchy", and then a devil appears on my left and says, "Yes, yes, eat the potatoes, then one day... POW! Just like in Monty Python!" after that, they both dissappear.

The only thing I don't like about potatoes is when they are boiled for too long and they waterlog, then they just taste like potatoey mush. I much prefer that I eat mashed potatoes than mushed potatoes.

Well, if they're exposed to sunlight, they turn to stone! Isn't that killing them?
