    Eminem

I was just listening to the radio and the announcer mentioned something about Eminem recieving death threats from al-Qaida because of his impersonation of Bin Laden on his new video. The first link from a quick search reveals very little but that its apparently true.

Is it just me or is that considerably hilarious? Everything about that guy is considerably hilarious. You've got to love how he stirs everybody up so easily.

Eminem rules at getting the stupid to resort to threats and violence.

but then again, I don't know if I believe you, Mr. LightatLaden

Personally, I have never listened to an Eminem song in it's entirety, and I could probably tell you as much about him as most of you could tell me about Blind Guardian: probably very little. Yet, I have read his lyrics, and I respect his position on the world. "Everybody's a hippocrate" is the message on what he writes, and he does it through insulting not only every institution of MTV, but also through insult of himself, such as the music video (no, I don't know which one) where he chased down a kid, because this kid bought his latest album and it had a parental advisory sticker on it.

    "and selling beer to kids"

S.O.B! They finally caught me! And after all my clever dressing in drag to avoid detection! But they got me 9 inches too short! Bastards!

    LMAO. Clever site.

    >>also through insult of himself

Such as on his new single. "it just seems, everybody wants to discuss me / so this means im disgusting, but its just me im just obscene"

    >>Yet, I have read his lyrics, and I respect his position on the world.

Dito. I confess to owning his CDs. You've got to respect that hes coming from somewhere nobody else is. Leaves you in wonder... "Wow, its rap... but... with meaningful lyrics?"

Whoa. Enough pop ups at those sites? I think I'm safe as nobody is ever going to actually be able to read the page through the constant flurry of trying to close all them pop-up windows.

I'd suggest getting the new one. Very good stuff. I'd say his best yet. Square Dance. I like some rap as well. But only some. I'm really very picky as theres so much crappy stuff available. I really like a lot of the newer rock/rap hybrid bands like Linkin Park, Papa Roach, etc. You know the sound. RATM was the first and will always be the best.

I can imagine you in the old folks home many years from now, no teeth or hair, leading the sing along.

Come on, you remember this one.

"F*** you I won do what yo tol me!"
"F*** you I won do what yo tol me!"
"F*** you I won do what yo tol me!"
"Man alone suffers so excruciatingly in the world that he was compelled to invent laughter."
    Friedrich Nietzsche

lightatdawn, you might like the executioners then. there hit song is called it's going down. i'm not sure if you've heard of them or not but you should check them out if you like that kind of music. and another band you might like is called karashi (sp?). they're a band from iceland that finally came to the states. i think their hit song is called stick 'em up. i don't really like them, though, but you might.

Personally I like a lot of different stuff, but it's mainly like punk, metal, and other stuff like that. I'm probably going to go buy the new Korn and New Found Glory CDs. They came out on the 11th just to let you know.

And I have tickets for the Warped Tour (coming to where I live (AZ) July 2nd). Bad Religion, New Found Glory, Thursday, MXPX, No Effects, and a ton of other bands are going to be there.

And as you can tell by my avatar I like Metallica. But it has to be old style Metallica (Kill 'Em All, Master of Puppets, etc...) days. Not that Load ........... But James said that they're next CD is going to be hard.

well tech... goin' down isnt a good example of the executioners...
all of the singing is done by Mike (Linkin Park), and alot of the scratchin is from the great joseph hann (linkin park)...

So why not listen to Linkin Park? Rock/Rap, they do it nicely.
