qwerty-azerty
When I edit a batch file in my dos-prompt,i get a qwerty-keyboard. This only happens when I am using Windows2000 and XP. How can I solve this problem?

There has to be a way to change it or not?

Qwerty IS standard. What exactly is your problem?

I want to turn it into azerty cause my standard is azerty. So I begin with azerty in the command-prompt but when I edit a batch file it turns into qwerty. In the past you could change this by the keyb-command but in windows 2000 and XP this is no longer possible I guess but there has to be another way?

Windows has become decreasingly reliant on DOS, especially with XP and 2000. With early versions of windows, you'd have all the standard DOS programs in a subdirectory with all the windows files, but now, with those systems, I doubt you'll be able to solve this. YOu might be able to get some special converters at really specialized electorincs stores, but you'll have a lot of trouble.

Well I'm still posting at the same rate that I was before this happened. One day I was bored so I just went through all of them and tried to find a way to help. Now I just maintain my status! Actually - I've done a ton of DOS programming, so I can help with most threads.
