I bought this game a week ago and I cant stop playing its like crack......no betterAnyways, I was just wondering what characters people picked (sex, race, class, birth sign,......). I chose a male dark elf, ended up answering that guys questions an im a spellsword, and i chose the tower as my birth sign.

I plan on getting this for the X-Box when it comes out on the 30th or 31st of this month. Is it cool? I hear you can become a vampire and play like that if you want.

I have it. I spend a lot of time just looking at
the water. It looks so good; especially at sunrise.
The Xbox version isn't going to be as good as
the PC version. You won't get the TES construction
kit, or plugins that alter the game. Just get the
PC version...

My friend is addicted to it, he hasn't stopped playing it since he got it. Everytime I arrive at his house, he's always sitting playing Morrowind. I heard there are a lot of issues with it (eg. crashing and freezing) It's certainly happend to my friend quite a bit and he has an amazing system. Anyone else had troubles with it?
Yeah it likes to CTD (crash to desktop) sometimes, but this is just an issue with XP, while others have problems on other OS's but not as much as on XP. You can fix it by downloading an updated dx8 dll but I cant find the link to it anymore.

I got it, but I dont think the water is so great... can someone post a screenshot of water so I can see if theres some problem with mine.

Before I go through the trouble of posting a screen, the water sucks if you dont have a GF3/4 or Radeon8500 (i.e. no pixel/vertex shaders)

You see, thats the thing, I have a geforce 4 with 32 megs of video ram. I have 512 megs of ram and 1.7 ghz pentium 4, wtf wtf wtf!!!
Do you have shaders enabled? If you go to the web site and look in their forums, there were some people who had the same problem with the shaders not working. Now is your Geforce4 a mx or a ti? If its a mx then its nothig more than a revamped geforce2 and has no support for shaders.

Im not sure, geforce4 440 GO is what it says, I run the game in 1024x768 with the farthest viewing distance and real time shadows on full and it runs fine.
