    Post Arizona

This is such a small, small thing I almost hate to mention it.

When I set up my account and chose a time zone for the offset- there is no selection for Arizona.

We do not observe daylight savings so we kind of have our own time zone thing usually (like say when you set up an OS)

The people I really wonder about are the folks in Indiana who don't do it either- or the part of AZ that does observe it. I guess they are just left out since they are such small groups.

    Oh yeah, you're right...

Probably just a minor little deal the Webmaster overlooked...

Why don't you guys observe it with the rest of us, anyways? Too lazy to reset your alarm clocks?

[deeppink]actually daylight savings is illegal to observe so we're all breaking the law by doing so...[/deeppink]

I'm not sure for the historical reason that we don't observe it-- but I'm very glad.

It was probably a good idea when everybody was farming- but here in the 21st century, I really don't see the point.

There was a local d.j. here who used to always announce it and say, "remember to set your clocks forward/back" and then we'd all get a good laugh when people would call up and say "Hey- the time didn't change!"

The Navajo reservation in AZ does observe daylight savings.

Every so often someone trys to pass legislation to get us in sync w/everybody else. I like being different.

So there's really no reason? Couldn't farmers farm just as easily whatever time the clock says it is, as long as there's adequate light?
