Frame relay

I think it is the successor of X.25 am I right?
also frame relay is faster then X.25 but the arrival of the packages is not guaranteed.

Is this correct?

What I'm actualy asking here is:" can someone please explain what frame relay is? "

I have to do a presentation and when people ask me what frame relais is, I have to give them an explenation.
