    howdy,
if you want to see how MS works go to the X Box developers site (sorry i dont have the address).
what it says is "send $$$ for a developers kit, then in 6 months if "WE" dont like your idea for a game you have to give the kit back, oh and "WE" keep the $$$. thak you very much.

Actually I quite would mind...I'm not sure of your intentions and it could really be a nasty virus if you add in code to replicate and hide itself.

there are plenty of open source viruses out their on the web which im sure are much beter hidden then the CD rom drive opening program. Leave out the hid code if you want it or just post the binary or something if your concerned about what someone might do with it.

I wouldn't dream of making a virus. And as for me hiding it... I wouldn't have a clue how to do it!!!! It's just sometimes my friend is annoying and I thought he might like it. Even if I could make some lame virus..
    1) It probably wouldn't work
    2) They'd find it in a sec
    3) I wouldn't have anyone to try it on...

I run 3 different virus scanners on my comp (not in the tray.. i run a scan on each one every third night).. they all pick up different viruses. I hate how one of them says "possible virus" while the other doesn't even pick it out.. hmph.
