I may be wrong about the C decompiler. There seems to be a common tool called the EXE-2-C decompiler, but it's listed as a hex editor. Someone on another forum compares a C decompiler to making a cow out of hamburger. Another comment is:
Decompiling exe files back to the original source code is impossible. This is not a technical
limitation but a basic fact about the compilation process. The compilation process removes all
information about comments, whitespace, preprocessor macros, identifier (variable, function and
type) names, and such things, and only leaves the basic function calling and information passing
skeleton. There are decompilers that decompile exe files to *some* C source code, but that source
code will most probably be so illegible it won't be of any practical use beyond recompiling on
another platform to try to achieve a modicum of portability.

I listed two links on the first page of this thread to decompilers. Be prepared for a let down if you were holding high expectations of nice little C programs built from an executable...
