    >Some kid was judging me online based on what I say.

Well, online he wouldn't have anything but your words to judge you.

    >Do you think its right to do that?

And you were probably asking him to judge, so he did.

People always assume things and always judge other people on their first impression. In real life it's the look, on the net, it's the subject or header of a post, or first words of a communication.

The net is just a means of communication. As the primary way of communicating is the written word, words become very important. The net cannot transport underlying meanings, a glare, a smile or some other communiation that would assist us in face to face communication. All there is are black and white letters forming words and sentences. So yes, judging on the base of words you wrote would be quite normal.

If someone misjudged you, stay calm. Tell him. Maybe he just got you wrong, it's easy on the net. If not, well... you don't need him to like you, do you ? Move on, there are millions of people out there. Some are nice, some are jerks, just like in real life. Pick the ones you like.

She was so Blonde, she spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice can because it said "Concentrate."

When in doubt, read the FAQ.
    Then ask a smart question.

Yes, all the time. A persons words say a lot about them. Plus, as someone else says, there's no other way to judge them.
"The measure of a man's real character is what he would do if he knew he would never be found out." - Thomas B. Macaulay

This somewhat applies to the internet... you can do whatever you want with little or no consequence. (Note: Don't give me examples where there is consequence, we can all think of them)

Oh, I get it... we're being judged by what we've said on the Internet. How clever.

    Mr. Fitlike, that was masterful.

-- Golden Bunny, you whine too much. Get back to writing some code and fix the spelling error in your signature; it's driving stevey nuts. The monetary piece you refer to is spelled
    N I C K E L
    not
    N I C K L E

well, at least they can tell what you have in mind and or are thinking at the current moment. still, you can act it.
    think only with code.
    write only with source.

I don't have any other way to judge all of you guys. In most cases I like what I read. I don' necesary agree with the fact that just because someone lives 50000 miles away it is ok to ignore his opinions. I don't have a problem to ignore my neigbours opinions, doesn't really have to do with distance.More acceptance that we all are different and thats ok.

    To Golden Bunny

    *Stop whining.
*Stop holding a grudge about some pathetic game project that didn't work out.
    *Move on.
*Get thicker skin because this will happen many times to you through out your life.

Golden Bunny: The internet (and espically this board) was not designed to be a support group (unless you happen to be David Beckham, in which case I wish your foot a happy recovery). If you need some help programming then by all means post here and people will help you. But if its some guy you have a crush on rejecting you, then just get over it. Thats the best advice you'll find anywhere.
If you own a piece of land and there is an volcano on it and it ruins a
nearby town, do you have to pay for the property damage?
