    Angry

You people are so closed minded. How hard can it be to see the world from a serial-killers eyes?

We can. I'm a serial killer. I'm ..........ing psycho! Look at that person. She looked at me. I better go rape her and kill her! Then I'll eat her spleen.

Didn't Gary Gilmore donate his eyes to science? Guess someone must be looking through them?

Why would you leave? Don't you feel sorry for me because I want to kill you?

One time Alice called and asked me out.

Now 24 years later I've been living next door to Alice for 3 years. I must get used to not living next door to Alice. She got her reasons. And I want to know.

Interesting thought Series...There are more reasons to not kill someone than to kill someone. What about the person's family? What about that person's contributions to society? It isn't good to take one's life away from them for no reason and without their consent.
Show me a man who cannot bother to do little things, and I'll show you a man who cannot be trusted to do big things.

Brian, ihsir, C_Coder, $null, tim545666 please be careful.

The point Series is trying to make is an Existentialist one, in that we are inevitably erased and we don't have any point in living. We all have our own lives, and we all feel we need to maintain them, but it is not unlike any eastern religion in that there is an ultimate path (Taoism for example) and that as we stand we are insignificant until realization and acception.

The fool laughs at the Tao.
The novice searches for the Tao.
The master understands the Tao, and lets it go it's course.

    >No we don't want to ban series, everytime I read one of his/her posts I'm reminded how lucky I was to be born with a brain

I don't think we are being objective, are we?

How can you be objective when every thread is exactly the same?
If series really wanted a serious and rational discussion about these issues he wouldn't be posting them here.

And maybe some rational opinions would help too.

Well, according to the Holmes Typology, most mass serial killings are committed to gratify some abnormal sexual urge, according to the bodies biological clock. The fantasy reenactment cycle is as follows:

    fantasy-->Control-->Disassociation-->Reenactment in which:

A switch is turned on, so to speak, in the serial killers mind (Jeffery Dahmer blamed his on pornography) where the fantasy process begins. For example: bumping into somebody could trigger some urge that eventually escalates to more than bumping and eventually murder. The fantasy is usually scripted in the mind of the serial killer and the victim is there solely to be an actor, so to speak. The primary characteristic of the murder is domination, where the killer either achieves domination by killing the victim quickly or achieves the sense of domination through slow pain and suffering. The killer often sees the victim as inhuman (due to disassociation) and will refer to the victim by the name in the fantasy. After the kill is made (which is some point between the abduction point and the dump point that lies beyond the buffer point which ranges 6-8 miles beyond the murderer's comfort zone) the killer quickly disassociates themselves from the crime scene and will try to blend in with everyday society, though they will often revisit the crime scene to relive the memories. Eventually, the killer realizes that reliving the memories of the kill isn't enough, and will kill again as reenactment. Every time they kill, though, they get better at it, in what can only be described as a learning curve.

The whole reason for this is because some disturbed people cannot arouse themselves normally. This doesn't mean they are insane, though; just look at Ted Bundy. He fell into the category of "Organized killer": High IQ, will play with the police (drop anonymous hints), will revisit the crime scene to see what police have done; and a "Disorganized Killer" has a low IQ, will play with the victim's family (kill the victim, but leave letters to the family that make it seem like the victim is still alive), leave messy crime scenes, and revisit the crime scene to relive the moment.

And, for those of you still in the country- superiority war, Holmes, who is a leading criminology expert, is british (the FBI, likewise, developed many of the same profiles independently)

    ...

Criminology is some crazy ****, and victimology is even crazier.

I completly agree. Although I would feel sorry for those hurt by the loss.
