First explain what you mean with terrorist. If it's the same as with the Israelis and the Palestines, then I would say: both of them are terrorists, if a terrorist is someone who kills other people.

well i'm replying to vasanth's question "the terrorist here is.."
and in this case it is Pakistan.
In an overall view both are guilty. The Indians will point to Pakistan and they to India.
but the country that has chosen the path of violence and that too terrorist attacks on civilians is - Pakistan.
Their military is nothing compared to India's (even admitted by their military leaders) and their power lies in doing random terrorist acts, thus they cannot afford any fullscale war and will most probably use their nukes if their is. ( this was said by their leader Pervez Musharraf)

There's terrorists in every major country. Except maybe Canada. tose guys are too laid back to really care. But then again who the hell considers Canada a major country?
The US has had its share of terrorists. (Unibomber, Timothy McVeigh (sp?)...) Unless everyone is happy, there are going to be some radicals. And as long as there are radicals, there are people that will go too for to get what they want. A lot of those guys are terrorists.
I think "both" whould be added to the poll.

it's a war, imho. india and pakistan are both at fault. being a teenager from america, i can't understand what makes people go to war over something so trivial. i credit india for ghandi's efforts, maybe in vain. i credit pakistan for its recent help with our war on terrorism.

What Bul*** help did pakistan give america. It did it on pressure. If it did not help it would have faced sanctions. And dont forget that all terrorist groups have a bse in pakistan. And also dont forget that wall street journalist Daniel pearl was killed by pakistanis in pakistan. And when Musharaf said he supported America the entire public in pakistan revolted against him. What does this show.. It shows that the people themself dont want to suppot america in punishing the terrorist. but musharaf did not have any choice..
You americans are always double minded.
And also dont forget that America has asked India to help it's economical assets the Oil Carriers passing through the Indian Ocean to be gaurded by our Navy. And we have agreed to it.... They asked this because they were afraid that the jehadi groups may target it.
And one more point
Why is it that when they destroyed the twin towers it was an act of terrorism but when the same jehadi group bombed our parliment in Delhi and assemble in Srinagar it was freedom fighting... You americans only see your benifit always..
