    Why europe sucks

    Why europe sucks
I want no arguments here and no Europeans to participate in this, I wanna know what america thinks about europe and what is bad and or good about it.

    - Don't say America sucks.

Ive been on two seperate trips to Europe, both lasting longer than 2 weeks and id have to say that most everywhere Europeans are rude if they think you are American, even if your not a stuck up ignorant american. They dont care, yore American so your meant to be treated like trash, but then after you talk to them they change your mind its so terrible. Now this isnt true all the time but a lot, I did meat a lot of cool people over there, just depends on the crowd of people I guess.

I love europe and europeans. I have been there twice. Haven't seen much of it and was mostly in Scandinavia. Still... had a good time, and really want to go to Germany. (I mean really really really want to...)

Not sure if this is going to be a defensive post or not. We'll see

    >They dont care, yore American so your meant to be treated like trash

Beep. Right observation, wrong conclusion. They don't care you are American, they treat you like every other person: like trash. That sucks.

    >Now this isnt true all the time

Oww, come on, give us some stereotypes already. Frogeaters, Island Monkeys, Teutons, Pizzas, there must be things that suck.

Europeans suck because we can't make movies.
Europeans can't make decent computer games.
European shops close on sundays and public holidays.
European politics play nice... but don't get anything done.
Europeans smoke all over the place.

If you own a piece of land and there is an volcano on it and it ruins a
nearby town, do you have to pay for the property damage?

Isn't folk music bad by definition?

And if you are looking truely shocking, try some hardcore chinese freestyle rap. You will regret it.

Just out of interest do Americans in general think of England as part of Europe or do you think of Europe as the mainland continent and England as seperate. Although we are geographically european we are culturally very different.

I lived in Germany for three years during a tour with the U.S. Army. I spent two years in Aschaffenburg and another in Frankfurt. I learned enough of the german language to get by, but was not fluent (nach einmal bier, bitte!). My experiences were, for the most part, positive.

Although the tax rate is relatively high in Germany, they seem to spend their money wisely. They have well trained police and firefighting crews, as well as national health care.

Racism seemed to be a problem there. The phrase "auslanders raus" was such a common sight, I began to think it was the national motto.

In cities or towns with an american military presence the locals were not very patient with Americans. Further out, people were friendlier but you wouldn't have a lot to talk about unless you spoke the language. I can sum up my experience there by saying the Germans who lived next to a few thousand rowdy American soldiers weren't always happy to see us, and the Germans who didn't have to put up with us on a daily basis were most polite.
