    Where are you?

I know its in everyone's profile, but this poll would make it easier to see where everyone is.

Speaking of "all other european countries", you've enumerated only some of the western european ones
Of course, I don't expect to enumerate all european countries, but I'd like to see a more balanced list (e.g. take one of the western european countries -France-, and one of the (mid)eastern ones -Hungary-, another from north -Sweden- and one from South -Italy- and so on ).
    Got it?

I think you might want to change the poll, seeing how "America" doesn't exactly provide an accurate choice... how about "USA"... or North America... or something like that... and you forgot anything from "South America".. not that it matters to me cuz I'm not from there, but I think you need to clarify..

    In Stealth's defence...

Down here, on the other side of the world, America refers to North America and South America refers to... well...

Anyone from NZ or Australia would know what the poll meant

My wife would probably kill you if she saw that you put Sweden and didn't put Finland. (Come on... Nokia... Linux... Finland has big things. What does Sweden have? Good skiing... big t... beeped out for 'G' rating)

This wasn't meant to be a thread saying which countries are important! **** me! God I just thought it would be interesting to see where people were from, not to start some ****ing goddamn AB country Vs XY country!

I know Betazep is only joking (at least I hope he is), but I'm already fed up with this thread.

Hehe, poor stealth... facing cultural, ethnical and geographical diversity

You might have asked instead from which continent we are, ev. with some fine tuning.

    >America refers to North America

Yes, in Stealths defense... guys, you're too important.
For us you aren't the US. You are America.
Everything else has to get a name of it's own, you
    are just America.

This whole thing reminds me of a story my brother-in-law told me..

He is in the Australian Army as an Engineer, but he is also an Army Diver. Anyway they were doing an exercise somewhere once as part of his diving training. The US Army was also training in the same area, as part of a joint exercise. At once stage, my BIL's boat had to ask a US boat to move out of their current position as they needed to use that area. The US boat, named Delta, wouldn't respond, even after 10 mins of messages. An American came over the speaker and angrily said "We won't answer you unless you refer to us as Battleship Delta!" -- apparently the correct way to address any US Army naval vessel. Needless to say the Australian's cracked up into fits of laughter, as the US boat wouldn't have been anything larger than a fishing boat!

"Yes, in Stealths defense... guys, you're too important. "
    ...and Europe is kinda Disney-park
French fries, german cars, spanish Malaga, italian shoes, models from Poland, belgian beer, scotch whisky, irish music, hungarian food (and notation ), swiss watch etc. - aren't we "too important", as well, NVOIGT ? Where can you find this cultural diversity ?

I think Europe has something special.
You travel 500 km-s, and got a good chance to meet 2-3 different cultures. Not speaking of our history. Just think about C. Columbus or Cptn. Cook and so on .
Australians and americans might call this continent just ... Mother Europe.
